OnePlus is seemingly all set to unveil its next flagship model, the OnePlus 15s, in India, as per recent certification hints. The model, which is said to be listed with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) under the number CPH2793, points towards a possible launch in India as soon as January 2026.
The leak comes in the wake of the OnePlus 15R and the OnePlus Pad Go 2's Indian launches on Wednesday. Some industry insiders suggest that OnePlus could first bring the device to the Chinese market before its Indian launch, a move similar to the one made with the OnePlus 13s, which was initially available in China as the OnePlus 13T in April and later in worldwide markets in June.
The upcoming 15s is positioned to take on the compact flagship market, with rivals like the Vivo X200 FE. Moreover, the 15s is likely to be accompanied by a Turbo series from OnePlus, which is reportedly aimed at gaming enthusiasts and could also be targeted at the Indian market.
BIS documents indicate that the OnePlus 15s may sport a 6.31-inch BOE X3 OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, thus matching the OnePlus 15 and 15R silhouette. The powerful Snapdragon
Regarding the camera, the phone is likely to have a 50MP Sony IMX906 main sensor and a 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto lens, but it might not include an ultra-wide angle lens like its predecessor. Other possible attributes are an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner, IP68 and IP69 certification for water and dust resistance, and a metallic casing that is roughly 8.5mm thick.
The OnePlus 15s is rumored to operate on OxygenOS 16, which is based on Android 16, and will come with AI features and Plus Mind capabilities through Gemini.
The OnePlus 13s was launched in India with a starting price of Rs 54,999 for the base variant and Rs 59,999 for the premium variant. Market experts predict that the ongoing memory chip shortages will have an upward effect on the pricing of the 15s, making it more expensive at launch.
